Kids Baking Camp: A Delicious Summer Adventure

Does your child have a knack for baking? Join our Kids Baking Camp this summer and foster their passion for pastries! This unforgettable camp experience is designed especially for young bakers aged 9-15 years old.

• August 5-9, 2024

Each day of the camp runs from 1 pm - 4 pm.

About the Camp

Our baking camp is led by the talented Chef Ashley, the owner and operator of Back 2 Basics Cooking. With her extensive experience teaching classes since 2014, she creates a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment for our young bakers.

 

The camp has a unique theme for each day:

 

1. Intro to Baking

2. Bread Bonanza

3. Bake-It Forward

4. Cupcake Creations

5. Edible Artwork

Your young bakers will learn to follow recipes, understand proper terminology, practice safety, clean up, and more, while preparing delightful treats like Quick Bread, Chocolate Chip Muffins, and Mini Pizzas.

 

What's Included?

For just $300 per child, your young baker gets an all-inclusive experience with no hidden costs. They'll receive:

 

• Personalized instruction from Chef Ashley

• Hands-on experience in baking a variety of recipes

• Their own apron and chef's hat to keep

• A packet with all the recipes they've learned

• The joy of sampling their creations!

 

This camp is not only about learning but also about experiencing the joy of creating something with their own hands. Your child will gain valuable skills while having fun and making new friends.

Safety First

We prioritize safety above all. Children are taught how to safely use ovens, mixers, and other baking equipment. We ensure that safety tips are thoroughly discussed and practiced.

 

Special Highlight: Bake-It Forward

On Bake-It Forward day, we bake care boxes to donate, instilling the values of sharing and giving in our young bakers. They get to keep some treats for themselves too, making this day a rewarding experience!

 

Registration and Cancellation Policy

To register, click the 'book now' button and follow the prompts. In case of cancellation at least 7 days in advance, full credit towards another class is offered. No refunds will be provided for late cancellations.

Before signing up, please contact Ashley if your child has any food allergies. We take every precaution to ensure a safe and enjoyable cooking experience for all campers. However, due to the nature of the ingredients used, not all allergies may be accommodated. Your child's safety is our utmost priority, and we appreciate your understanding.
